Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
These Terms of Service are a contract between you and Buddhi, operated by Manasvi Srivastava ("Buddhi", "we", "us" or "our"), the supplier and licensor of the software described on this website. Paddle.com is the seller of record for every order; see section 2.
Business and service address: Järvevana tee 9, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 11314, Estonia. Email: [email protected]. Phone: +1 971 259 4681.
By purchasing, downloading, installing or using Buddhi you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not purchase or use the software.
2. Our reseller and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
This means that when you buy a licence to Buddhi, your purchase contract for that order is with Paddle, and Paddle appears on your receipt and your card or bank statement. Paddle collects and remits any sales tax or VAT due on the order. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Nothing in Paddle's terms or ours limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
3. The software and your licence
Buddhi is a developer tool that automates the pull-request review cycle. It runs locally on your own computer and uses the AI subscriptions and API keys that you already hold. We do not host, execute or store your source code.
A paid purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the commercial Buddhi package for the duration of your paid subscription, for the number of developers you have paid for. The licence ends when your subscription ends. The free version of Buddhi is not covered by these Terms; it is distributed separately under its own open-source licence.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the commercial package, or attempt to remove or circumvent its licence checks.
4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Paid licences are sold as a recurring subscription and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices are shown on this website before you buy, in US dollars, exclusive of any sales tax or VAT, which Paddle calculates and adds at checkout.
You may cancel at any time, through the receipt Paddle emailed you or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your licence continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee
We offer an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee on every purchase. If you are not happy with Buddhi for any reason, ask us for a refund within 30 days of your purchase and you will get your money back in full.
You do not have to give a reason. There are no conditions, no exclusions, no usage limits, and no questions asked. Refunds are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record and are returned to your original payment method.
Full details are in our Refund Policy. This guarantee is offered in addition to, and never in place of, any statutory refund or withdrawal right you may have.
6. Acceptable use
You are responsible for the code that Buddhi acts on and for reviewing its output before you rely on it. You agree not to use Buddhi to violate any law, to infringe anyone's rights, or in any way that breaches the terms of the AI providers whose subscriptions or API keys you configure it to use.
7. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the commercial Buddhi package. You retain all rights in your own code. We claim no ownership of, and acquire no licence to, anything Buddhi reads, writes or changes on your machine.
8. Warranty disclaimer and liability
Buddhi is provided "as is". While it is built to verify its own work and to stop rather than guess, it is software that changes code, and you remain responsible for reviewing and testing what it produces. Except for rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, Buddhi is provided "as is" and we do not give warranties other than those expressly stated in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including statutory rights relating to digital content or digital services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of Buddhi is limited to the amount you paid to Paddle for your Buddhi licence in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you buy is the version that governs your purchase. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
